Responsibilities of the Department to plan infrastructure of information system for the subordinates of the Turkish National Defence University (TNDU), to perform information system coordination with other universities and with YÖK (Council of Higher Education), to plan integration and adaption of information system networks of TNDU’s vocational HE schools, academies, war colleges, and institutes to the TNDU’s network and software, to determine and implement the operating policies of all the information system of the TNDU and its subordinates in accordance with the related legislation, to establish, to operate and to maintain wide area network between the Rectorate and its subordinates, to perform relevant risk analyses regarding the cyber attacks either from within or outside the network, to take necessary precautions for cyber attacks and to intervene possible cyber attacks, to determine all the software required by the TNDU and its subordinates, to develop these software or to coordinate the development of these software in accordance with the legislation and to perform software tests, to design, to establish and to manage the web site on the internet and intranet network, and to provide information system support for the users working in the department, directorates, war colleges, and institutes within the Yenilevent Campus of the TNDU, to intervene all the hardware malfunctions under its authorisation, to plan and monitor the repairs, maintenance, and warranty processes of all the information system materials.
