Responsibilities of the Department are to plan and coordinate the international visits of the delegations of Turkish National Defence University (TNDU) abroad and the visits of foreign delegations to the TNDU, to plan, control, and coordinate the international education and cooperation activities of the TNDU, to coordinate with the Military/Defence Attachés of foreign countries in Türkiye and foreign mission offices of the Republic of Türkiye aboard in the authorised fields, to determine the education prerequisites and conditions for International Officers and International Cadets, to perform coordination activities in the field of education within the scope of bilateral relations and activities regarding visiting foreign delegations or Turkish delegations visiting abroad, to determine the quotas for International Officers and International Cadets who will receive education and training in the TNDU according to the bilateral and multilateral agreements and evaluate the requests for additional quotas, to identify common education and research cooperation areas with the foreign countries’ Defence Universities, and/or Defence Colleges, and Research Centres in the field of defence and to perform activities to conclude a protocol in the relevant areas, to take relevant measures pertaining to planning, executing and supporting social, cultural, and educational activities in order for International Officers and International Cadets, who are in the TNDU within the scope of bilateral agreements with friendly and allied countries, to receive education and training under better conditions, and to monitor national and international accreditation processes and quality assessment activities regarding the education programs implemented in the TNDU and to follow up and coordinate international education programs.

Responsibilities of the Department are
