Organizer Institutions: Symposium will be organized with the cooperation of the Turkish National Defence University-Fatih Institute of Military History Studies, Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), and Romania Ministry of National Defense-Institute for Political Studies of Defense and Military History.

Aim and Scope

The symposium aims to discuss the common points of Turkish-Romanian military history between the Middle Ages and World War II. It is aimed to contribute to Turkish and Romanian military history studies with this event. Also, the book to be prepared after the symposium, is planned to be the main source for the studies on Turkish-Romanian military relations.
